In just his first term in the United States House of Representatives, Congressman John Kline has been a breath of fresh air for the people of Minnesota. His stand-up, responsible, honest, and no-nonsense citizen representation has brought him respect from a vast cross-section of 2nd District Residents. Sworn in on January 8th, 2003, Congressman Kline brings a wealth of experience with him to Washington D.C. (25 year U.S. Marine Colonel, Farmer, Lakeville Environmental Affairs Board Member, Executive Vice President of the Center of the American Experiment), and it shows. He has already been a strong voice for American Service men, women and veterans. He Authored the HEROES Bill, which President Bush signed in August, that protects service men and women serving overseas from accruing loan debts. He has fought for businesses, roads, schools, lakes, rivers, parks, and people of the second district and almost always has come out on top.
