Last year, State Convention delegates amended the Republican Party of Minnesota Constitution, creating an Issue Conference which is to be held in odd-numbered years. The Issues Conference, which replaces the odd-year State Convention, is to provide the activists with an opportunity to study issues of interest to the Party. To better allow participation in the event, the Issues Conference is open to all interested Republicans, regardless of any delegate or alternate status. This year’s Issues Conference will be held on Saturday, October 6th, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Topics to be covered include Transportation, War on Terror, Health Care and Education. * * * REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED * * * DATE:    Saturday, October 6th, 2007 TIME:    9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. LOCATION:    Doubletree Hotel 1500 Park Place Blvd. St. Louis Park, MN 55416 COST:    $20 on site Registration will open at 8:30 a.m., with the Issues Conference beginning promptly at 9:00 a.m. Box lunches will not be sold on site the day of the event. For those who have not pre-registered there will also be an opportunity to purchase tickets on site for $20 at the event.
