On Thursday, May 29, Republicans from around the great state of Minnesota will gather at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester for the Republican Party of Minnesota’s 2008 State Convention.

Major agenda items at the 2008 State Convention include:

1. Consideration of endorsement for United States Senate
2. Adoption of a Party Platform
3. Election of delegates and alternates to the 2008 Republican National Convention
4. Nomination and election of Presidential Electors
5. Constitution Committee Report
6. Transaction of other such business as may lawfully come before the Convention

Pre-registration will open Tuesday, April 1st, 2008.
The Republican Party of Minnesota has worked with the Rochester Convention and Visitors Bureau to provide a one-stop method for securing lodging near the Mayo Civic Center at very reasonable rates. Unless otherwise noted, all hotels are within walking distance from the Mayo Civic Center.
