“Today’s ruling by Judge Wright in the election for the United States House seat in Minnesota’s Second Congressional District is discouraging, disappointing and in conflict to Minnesota state law, which calls for a Special Election on February 9, 2021.

“MN Secretary of State Steve Simon has already communicated to voters to not vote in this specific race; and voting has been open since September 18th.

“Numerous voters have reached out to the Tyler Kistner for Congress campaign and the MN GOP stating that they did not vote in this race because of the Simon’s previous statements.

“Electioneering by federal judges this close to an election should never take place and we hope the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals will reverse this ruling to ensure our elections in Minnesota remain compliant, fair and in accordance with Minnesota State law.”
