Pursuant to the laws of the State of Minnesota, the Constitution of the Republican Party of Minnesota, and by the virtue of the authority of the State Central Committee, a State Convention of the Republican Party of Minnesota is hereby called for Friday and Saturday, May 29 and 30, 2026, at the Duluth Entertainment Center.
The Convention shall be composed of those Delegates and Alternates elected at the 2026 BPOU Conventions and elected by any Affiliates in good standing with the Party. Delegates and Alternates unable to attend both days are not required to stay the whole time.
Convention Purposes
- Endorsing a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate
- Endorsing Gubernatorial & Lieutenant Governor Candidates
- Endorsing Candidates for Constitutional Offices — Attorney General, State Auditor, and Secretary of State
- Consideration of changes to the Republican Party of Minnesota Constitution
- Report on and consideration of changes to the Party Platform via resolutions
- Transaction of other such business that may properly come before the Convention
Convention Schedule
Guest Registration Rates
Guests must be sponsored by a State Convention Delegate or Alternate, or campaign committee. Members of the media may not be registered as guests. Delegates are responsible for the behavior of each guest they register and must accompany them to pick up credentials.
